I don’t do a lot of Pet Portraits. Lots of people do them way better than I do. I confess I relate better to kids than pets. But I really, really liked this one. I actually took this at a wedding. I was waiting for the bride to get back from the salon and had done all the details. I don’t like to do nothing while I wait, so I look for things to photograph. Anyway, the bride and groom had these two cats who were like their children. So I photographed them while I waited. I must tell you, I am not a cat person–I am a dog person. But this cat was really interesting to photograph. It was almost like she was posing. Or wishing I were dead. I am still not sure.
