A Dreamy Midsummer Saratoga Wedding
Olivia and Chris had the most dreamy Midsummer Saratoga Wedding at the Mansion Inn. The details were fabulous and the day was perfect! Thank you to both The Posie Peddler and Total Events for creating a dream setting for this wedding! Below is a slideshow of some of my favorites from this wedding–it was so hard to choose!
I had an opportunity to photograph Olivia and Chris’ Engagement Session at the State Park last Winter, so I knew we would have a great time on the Wedding Day.
I have found that working together prior to the Big Day really puts everyone at ease and makes the Wedding Photos a lot more comfortable for my couples.
Ready, Set, Go–Getting Ready at The Mansion
Everyone got ready at the Mansion, which makes it so much easier for couples. I especially liked that Olivia’s mom did Olivia’s makeup in the Mansion’s lovely Bridal Suite. While the gals got ready upstairs, the men got dressed in the red Music Room. There were many special and touching moments during the day, but I really loved the First Look that Olivia did with her Dad. And can I just say that her dress from Xena Bridal perfectly suited her!
Midsummer Saratoga Wedding First Look
Olivia and Chris chose to do a First Look on the side porch at the Mansion. While I never push my clients to do a First Look, I have found that many couples like to do a First Look because it is private and very personal. It also gives them a moment to drink each other in and have a few moments before the chaos of the day descends. After the First Look, we created the Family Portraits and many great Bride and Groom Portraits. We were able to use many different locations before the guests arrived for the Ceremony.
Midsummer Saratoga Wedding Ceremony By The Pond
Our couple chose to have their outdoor wedding ceremony by the Pond with Reverend Joy Burke officiating. I especially loved the confetti poppers at the end–so fun!
Midsummer Saratoga Wedding Reception
Cocktail Hour was in the Formal Rose Garden. So many great details, but I loved the signature cocktail, the Guests Book area was fun, and the magical way the Barn looked was a highlights for sure. All the guests were super fun, and there were even family members attending from Germany! I really enjoy photographing the dancing portion of a wedding–our couples are relaxed and having fun with family and friends.
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Olivia and Chris–you guys were the best!
