Iconic Black and White Bridal Photos
I think Black and White Wedding Photos are kind of iconic, don’t you?
Today’s photo is an image I created at a wedding this past summer in Albany, NY. I wanted this image to feel moody and almost dreamy as it was captured right before the ceremony. I particularly love those final moments, as the bride has so many emotions to process. I used black and white for the tone and the backlighting to help achieve this feeling. By having Michelle drop her gaze, it makes her seem more introspective and involved with her thoughts rather than interacting with the viewer or just cheesing for the camera. Plus, I just really liked her eyelashes.
