Family Photography Legacy Project
When was the last time you had professional portraits created of your family? One of the most rewarding things to me personally as a photographer is being able to document my clients through the years as they grow and change. This was most recently driven home with a special Family Photography Legacy Project I completed for a longtime client. I had first photographed her family in 2005. I have since done all the High School Senior Portraits for her children. This year after the youngest had his Senior Portraits photographed, we put together an album for her that included the first session as well as images from each Senior Portrait Session. I love the way it came together! I love seeing how these kids grew up!
I loved working on this Family Photography Legacy Project. I love the way photography freezes moments in time. I love seeing the way these kids look now and how they looked then. To have these all bound in a book is priceless. I have always felt that one of the few things that actually increases in emotional value over time is portraits of your family. So–when was the last time you had professional portraits created of your family? Don’t you think it might be time?
