Have you ever been driving in a car and just wished you had a camera with you because you see something cool in the scenery as you are driving or walking around? A lot of the times when I am driving from Point A to Point B, I am not really taking in my surroundings and enjoying what I am driving through. Frankly, I am usually too busy thinking about what time I need to pick my daughter up, what I am going to make for dinner, really mundane stuff.
So last week, as I was getting ready to drive to Fulton Montgomery Community College to see the art show I had helped adjudicate, I impulsively grabbed a camera and put it in the front seat. It was a foggy, drizzly day and the ride out to the college has some cool landscapes on the side of the road. And that is how I made the picture below. I just pulled over when I saw something cool. I liked the way the trees by the pond were popping out of the fog.
Sometimes I need to remind myself to be present in the moment and just enjoy what is around me.
Beautiful!
Nice peaceful image. Well captured Susan
