Megan and Nick’s Winter Wedding at Longfellows in Saratoga Springs NY
A Winter Wedding at Longfellow’s Saratoga Springs is always very beautiful, and Megan and Nick’s was no exception. This was also special to me because I had photographed Megan’s sister Sam’s wedding previously. I love photographing multiple events for a family because they become almost like my own family!
The weather was cold, but very clear with lovely skies. The girls all got ready at the Bride’s parents’ home. Nick sent Meg a very sweet letter while she was getting dressed. Megan’s Justin Alexander dress suited her perfectly, as did her Badgely Mischka shoes. Of course, there was an adorable flower girl trying to steal the show. Meg very generously provided her attendants with fur stoles to wear to keep warm, as well as fur mittens. They looked fantastic with the navy dresses. The groomsmen looked sartorially correct in their suits from Jonathan Reid in Queensbury.
The ceremony was held at the family church, St Joseph’s in Fort Edward. It is a traditional Catholic church that photographs beautifully. Then we were off to Longfellow’s in Saratoga Springs. The grounds look great at any time of the year. The party was so fun–I love photographing people having a wonderful time! A big thank you to Nick from Cool Cat for keeping the dance floor packed all night long. Of course, we made some time for a few quick night shots outdoors.
