Baby, we are back! On a walkabout photographing Teddy and Sam last Saturday.
I will admit to being obsessed with this Albany Wedding at the State Room. It was a fun celebration of love, family and friends. The bride and groom were ecstatic. It was just FUN. It was great to see smiles and laughter all around. I have so many favorite wedding photos from this event. So I am sharing this slide show I just created:
Here are a random few of my personal favorite Albany State Room Wedding Photos from Samantha and Theodore’s event:
Getting Ready:
I love the texture in this detail of the dress. The lace was exquisite.Yes, this was staged. But the emotion is real and that is what matters.Sometimes the Groom gets overlooked. Not when you have a second Photographer. While my second shooter was with the guys photographing this….I was photographing this. Because great minds think alike.Seeing Dad for the first time.Personal items included in the Bride’s Bouquet by Ambiance Florals.
Formal Portraits and The First Look:
When I walked into the Renaissance where the Bride was getting ready, this spot made my heart skip a beat. LOL.Another stunning location in the Renaissance. And the dress by Lea-Ann Belter Bridal from Something Bleu was incredible on Sam. This is part of the restoration of the old Dewitt Clinton Hotel.First Look. Love it when the Grooms cry.The State Room is close to all the major great landmarks. And how cool is the car they let the couples use?Just a really cool location.
The Wedding Ceremony in The State Room:
Just a gorgeous location to photograph.
Location Photos with the Bridal Party Near the Capitol:
My second shooter, Jim, photographed this image–love it.Our State Capitol is so beautiful.Behind the Scenes–the ugly truth behind the beautiful shots. Jim always gets my very best angles. LOL.Bridal Party shots should not all be traditional.
The Reception:
Just a fun shot.Teddy and Sam took dancing lessons for their First Dance. The toasts are always a fun part of the evening.
Samantha and Teddy did a choreographed dance for their first dance, so I thought it would be cool to incorporate it into their formal night shot.Every wedding needs a show stopper.
I am so happy to be back photograping weddings like this.
