An Elopement is a lovely event–more private and intimate than a larger wedding, an Elopement allows me to connect a little more deeply with the couple. This past November, I was privileged to photograph Lisa and Rich’s Elopement at the Mansion Inn in Saratoga.

With only three guests in attendance, this Elopement was the epitome of intimate. But it was large on style.
Intimate Elopement Style
Some of my favorite style points at Lisa and Rich’s Elopement were her gorgeous dress and fur stole, the beautiful bouquet from Posie Peddler, appetizers and champagne by the fireplace, a gourmet lunch, and the fun tin cans and sign on the back of the getaway car. This event had a lot of Old Hollywood vibes and effortless sophistication–perfect for an Intimate Elopement.
Just a few quick images below that are my personal favorites:
The florals for any event set the tone. Posie Peddler did a great job with these.
The Bride getting dressed is always a transformational moment–it was more poignant with just Lisa and her Mom. There was a range of emotions from laughing to quiet reflection.
Intimate Elopement Bridal Portraits
Brides always request photos with this iconic mirror in the Mansion Inn.
I just loved this gown that Lisa chose from A Love Story Bridal.

Intimate Elopement Wedding Ceremony
A private exchange of vows can be just as meaningful, if not more so, as a large event.

Eloping does not mean you forgo photos! We can still do some very lovely images–they will be great to look back on over time.

Great Luncheon Option for an Elopement
The Wedding Cake was just darling.

Congrats to Lisa and Rich!
