Julie and Her Boys: Saratoga Springs Portrait Session
I recently had the privilege of photographing Julie and her two boys, Brendan and Connor (I should really call them young men) for a Saratoga Springs Portrait Session. I asked Julie to tell me a little bit about her family:
“I am not sure where all the time went, but all of a sudden my two boys have grown into wonderful men who I am so proud of. I do not take for granted one minute of my time with them. I am most proud of their character, strength and love of family.
“Brendan is my oldest son who is always focused on his goal to be a corporate attorney. I love that Brendan has very high goals for himself and works very hard to achieve them. He is the most honest and trustworthy person I know.
“Connor is my strong yet sensitive son who is working toward a dual degree in nuclear and mechanical engineering. Connor is always there when I need him and I love the fact that he is spending much more time at home this summer.
“I am truly blessed. Both of my sons have brought only joy to my life and I am very proud to be their “Mom.”
When I am photographing families, often I ask the Moms what they love most about their kids–and Julie summed it up perfectly. As a Family Portrait Photographer I find that insights like these help me create a bond with my clients that translates when we do the session. I am so fortunate to be able to photograph and document such important relationships and create family heirlooms.
