I recently photographed the most idyllic Garden of Eden Wedding in Saratoga at the Mansion. It was so perfect that Sheala and Charlier’s Pastor called it The Garden of Eden–and it was so apt! The florals by Rena’s Flowers were unbelievably lovely. Below is a slideshow of the day and you can decide for yourself:
In case you want to take a peek at just Wedding Photos, here is a small(is) gallery of this timeless Saratoga Wedding:
The gardens were so lush because we had so much rain leading up to Sheala and Charlier’s wedding.
Getting Ready at The Mansion
Sheala wrote her vows to Charlier in a personalized notebook. The guys got dressed in the red Music Room downstairs.Details such as these are a great way to begin storytelling in a Wedding Album. The Bride getting dressed is always about transformation.
Black and White Bridal Portraits
Iconic shots of the bride in her dress are always the most fun to create.
A Memorable First Look
Anticipation always runs high right before a First Look at a Wedding. We love a good First Look!Don’t you just love a genuine smile?I much prefer shooting details like these as opposed to just a flat lay.
Bridal Party Photos on Property
The Bridal Party–what a great group to work with!Group photos are really important on a wedding day.Let’s not forget the ladies!
The Idyllic Garden of Eden Wedding Ceremony Set Up
Rena’s Fine Flowers did a spectacular job with all the florals for Sheala and Charlier’s Wedding. Photographing them was a dream.
How amazing is this arch and all the ceremony florals?Kids in Weddings are really cute!It is always special to photograph a bride with her dad walking down the aisle and capturing the groom’s response.
Capturing the guests at a ceremony is a storytelling element. The Bride and Groom will want to see these faces in their Wedding album.A wedding ceremony seems to go by in the blink of an eye.Because a wedding is so intense, it is important to capture all the expressions and nuances at the Ceremony.
Sheala and Charlier’s friends and family did a blessing over them to conclude the ceremony. That Just Married feeling.
Wedding Portraits On Location at the Mansion
There really is not a more picturesque place to create Bridal Portraits than The Mansion. You can really create a wide variety in a relatively short amount of time.
We captured the majority of the Bride and Groom photos after the ceremony. The Mansion has so many lovely spots. It was so easy to photograph this couple!Just playing around with different angles and a littel selective focus.Something a little more traditional. The Dress will tell you how it wants to be photographed.
The Tented Wedding Reception
Details at the reception and room shots are a great way to remember all the little things you planned.
Parting shots. I like to finish a wedding coverage with a good night shot, if possible.
Congratulations to Sheala and Charlier! What a perfect day!
