Wow! Where did the summer go? I photographed my friends Roberto and Christina’s wedding last spring and am just now posting it to the blog! This was a Destination Wedding with a little twist for me because I have known the groom for a while. Roberto is one of the Directors of the Saratoga Summer Dance Intensive, which I have had the pleasure of photographing for a long time now. It was wonderful meeting Christina and both of their families! People came from all over to celebrate this at-home wedding in North Carolina.
“Things to do today–Get Married.”
Christina and Roberto lived in the same city in South America when they were younger, but did not know each other until they were introduced last year in North Carolina. Christina and her sister Ines even went to school with Roberto’s sister Anita. It must have been fate.
It was a beautiful day in North Carolina for this Destination Wedding.
The church in Cary, North Carolina was modern and simple. I really liked the stained glass window at the entrance.
Lots of great window light at this location.I love capturing this kind of emotion.Badgley Mishka shoes–very Old Hollywood. The arrival of the Bride is always exciting!I like to use black and white photos for these types of images.Christina’s brother came from Venezuela to escort her down the aisle.A fun moment during the ceremony. The Ring ExchangeChristina’s sister Ines did one of the readings during the ceremony.Roberto’s sister Anita did a reading as well.
This is the living room of Christina’s home. The light was perfect!
The Fondant covered Wedding Cake was decorated with brightly colored Gerbera Daisies. The citrus colors of the Gerbera Daisies matched the lemons and oranges in the vases. The food was casual and beautifully presented.First Dance
