How To Nail A Sparkler Exit At Your Wedding

A Sparkler Exit is a really fun and romantic way to end your Wedding. After all, what is better than running through a path of sparklers held by friends and family? It isn’t super hard to accomplish an epic exit, but there are a few tips that will make it memorable as well as easy.
Easy Tips for Sparkler Exits
As a courtesy, always check with your venue ahead of time—Always! Some venues simply do not allow them under any circumstances for obvious safety reasons.
Buy the Right Items
Not just any sparkler will do! Choose the smokeless variety. No smoke = clearer photos. Not to mention better breathing for the guests. Opt for longer sparklers—at least 36 inches for maximum burn time. Stay away from the small 10 inch sparklers—they will burn out before you exit.
Lighters are often overlooked, but so important. Don’t bother with matches. They will take too long to light. The best option is grill lighters.
Time Your Sparkler Exit In Advance
Timing is everything. You want to get all the sparklers lit in the shortest time possible. Plan on purchasing one lighter per six guests. The best way to light send off sparklers is to light the first sparkler in a group and then use that sparkler to light the other ones in the group.
Display your sparklers in a central location with signage that tells people when the send off will take place. Coordinate with your venue and Band/DJ.
Leave the Lighting to the more sober guests–you want it to be memorable, but in a great way instead of a tragic way.
Following these easy tips will surely help make your sparkler exit epic!
