A Perfect Day For Summer Wedding Photos in Ticonderoga NY
In June I had the opportunity to photograph Annelise and Zachary’s wedding in Ticonderoga. It was the perfect Upstate NY Summer day for a wedding–sunny clear weather, not too hot and zero humidity!
I first met Annelise and Zach at the Fort William Henry Bridal Show the year prior and just really clicked with them. I was also very excited to be working up in Ticonderoga on Lake George.
Getting Ready On The Lake
The ladies got ready at Trout House Resort on the lake. It was a lovely light filled place with a great front porch, perfect for photos.
A Traditional Ceremony at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church In Ticonderoga
The Wedding Ceremony took place at Annelise and Zach’s parish church, St Mary’s. It was a really pretty church that I had never been to before. We did some formal photos at the church, then we were able to go over to Fort Ticonderoga for Bridal Party photos as well as the Bridal Portraits. It is a very unique and beautiful location with lots of local history.

We were so fortunate to be able to use the historic Fort Ticonderoga as a backdrop for many portraits. It is definitely a very unique location in the Adirondacks that is so picturesque.
Wedding Reception At Silver Bay
The wedding reception was held at Silver Bay–fabulous! This venue is a unique venue with many buildings dating back to the 1900’s, including the reception area. It is a beautiful space to hold a wedding reception.
