Don’t settle for an ordinary Senior Portrait Session when you are extraordinary.
What does your “typical” Senior Portrait Session look like? Not your typical Senior Portrait Session is my answer.
While a small portion of the Session might involve a more traditional image to please the Yearbook Gods, most of the Session is us just playing and capturing the individual. My goal for all my Sessions is to push myself to create images that are unique to each student. I never want to produce cookie cutter Senior Portraits or rely on an imaginary Posing Guide. We can make magic together.
Below is the album layout for Sophia’s Senior Album. I think you can see what I mean when you look through the pages. While we did a brief series of traditional “drape” photos, the remainder of the session was tailored to Sophia, her style and her personality.

A final word–I want to take my clients out for a Senior Portrait Experience that will highlight who they are. I don’t want to run through the same old Senior Portrait Poses in the same old locations everyone with a camera uses (think hugging a tree, etc.).
I want to capture a range of moods and expressions. I want to capture YOU. We will take a ton of photos. There may be a few that are discards. But there will also be a ton that you love. If that sounds good to you, let’s make an appointment. You can use the Contact Form or call the Studio directly at (518) 584-4237 today.
Her album will be gorgeous! I love that you let their natural body movements guide you in their posing! makes is so much more natural.
I love doing albums because my clients get to include all their favorites in an heirloom product.
I love that you showed us what your albums look like, how exciting for seniors to know that’s what they have to look forward to!
They did really love this album. I love doing layouts like these so clients can really enjoy all their favorite photos from a session easily.
Senior pictures sure are different from when I graduated from high school! I love that you offer beautiful albums too!
LOL–same! Mine were taken on the high school stage. Five minutes and “Next…” So glad people can get real photos now!
