In Between The Raindrops–A Gorgeous Lake George Wedding
I will be posting more about this wedding I photographed two weeks ago, but I was just thinking about how some brides kind of obsess about the weather when planning their weddings. What I loved about these Lake George wedding photos was the attitude of the bride and groom.
Jackie and Nate LOVE Lake George and wanted their wedding at the Inn at Erlowest to be perfect–of course. Unfortunately, the weather really was very uncooperative. Not only did it pour, it was like 40 degrees. At the end of May. What was great was that they did not let it ruin the day–they just rolled with it and enjoyed being together with their family and friends. And mostly just enjoyed the fact that they just got married. I sometimes feel that while the overall landscape is very important in wedding photography, the real magic happens when you depict the feeling between the couple. We still got great pictures, we just did not get Lake George in the background of this shot. And the day was absolutely perfect!
I love working with relaxed, happy couples. If you are this relaxed and happy, I would love to work with you. Click here to fill out a contact form or call (518) 584-4237 to schedule a consultation.
