What is more romantic than Wedding Photos on a snowy day? I recently photographed Katie and Mark at the historic Queensbury Hotel on their wedding day in Glens Falls. It was a cold, snowy day, but so fun!

Some people would be a little nervous planning a Winter Wedding in Upstate NY–but I say Go For It! Especially if you are doing the entire event at a venue like The Queensbury Hotel. Ceremony, Reception and accommodations for everyone in one place makes it really convenient for everyone. No travel was required to get to the ceremony or reception, so the road conditions were simply not a factor. In addition, the recently renovated venue has so many fabulous locations for Wedding Photos. Below is a slideshow of some of my very favorite moments during the day:

Stunning Wedding and it looks like a great time was had by all. These photos make me want to visit Glens Falls like yesterday.
Glens Falls is for sure a really cool town! It was built largely around the turn of the century and was known as one of the largest paper making towns in the country! It has a great downtown with awesome architecture–a perfect venue for a wedding any time of year!

Katie and Mark were a dream to photograph and the Queensbury is a truly iconic Wedding Venue. It was built in the 1920s/30s and the new owners have restored many cool details while updating it for a more modern sensibility. Perfect for wedding photos!
